God has a sense of humor

This is the best time of the year, hands down. I was excited to go into the basement to get my mini Christmas tree out for my bedroom but I realized we threw them out (much sad such disappointment). Later on in the day, I went to a Christmas party and I got a grow your own Christmas tree kit which I went home and planted- obviously. The point in telling my story was that I’ll never know if it just so happened to be a coincidence or not that I got a kit for growing my own tree the same day I realized my mini tree was gone, but I’d like to think that God did that to make me laugh. He’s got a sense of humor and that makes me real happy. 😊

Fall is my favorite season, and it starts tomorrow. I am so exciting because that means that everything turns into pumpkin flavor and spice! But, enough about me, it’s time to focus on the LORD. You may be wondering what in the world fall has to do with God, but I have a pretty good way to sum it up. Have you ever noticed that God is like the first fall that ever happened? He was a tree, who, under the circumstances of the current moment, took all of our sins- which are the leaves. Then, he died which took all of our sins away- this being the tree growing all these leaves. After this he rose again- this meaning that the tree grew strong again- and then they fell of. He continually does this when we ask for forgiveness- he grows new leaves, they fall off, and then they grow again and fall off.
